Description
The Volvo 240 Turbo developed by Volvo in Sweden played an active part in the touring car race by the Group A machine that made the world's motor sports fans enthusiastic from the 1980s to the 90s.
Based on the evolution model that produced 500 units in 1983, it was tuned up according to Group A regulations. The engine is an in-line 4-cylinder OHC2141cc that produces 340 horsepower equipped with a turbocharger. Exhibits excellent driving performance in combination with a lightweight body of 1035 kg.
When you started racing in earnest in 1984, you won the ETCC championship as early as 1985.
In 1985, Bar Streson, who participated in the German national championship DTM and won one victory and five podiums, won the driver's title.
